5 Seeds for Life

This site is meant as a manual of practice and sharing. It connects knowledge of your own ayurvedic constitution, your energies, your strengths and your fragilities, to different areas of daily life: health, emotions, self-knowledge, cooperation and transmission.

In the spirit of the Dalai Lama's vision and the principle of Universal Responsibility, this path invites everyone to develop wisdom and compassion and to take responsibility for acting for others and for the world.

The goal is twofold: to cultivate a better personal balance, to develop vitality, strength and love, so as to be able to contribute to sustainable development projects and to building a better world.

The content is organized around several dimensions

This site is an invitation to explore, experience and embody Ayurveda as a living compass, to share joy and vitality.

Sustainable development

The 5 seeds don't stop at the doorstep of inner life: health, stability, singularity, cooperation and transmission are also concrete levers for acting on the world around us, echoing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. To take this reflection further, we keep an updated selection of external sites and resources: education, SDGs in business, yoga and therapy, facilitation.

The 5 Seeds for Life

The 5 seeds offer a simple, living framework for connecting Ayurveda to the major areas of life. They are both keys to understanding and levers for transformation: they help each person grow, come into harmony, and contribute positively to the collective and to life itself.

Universal Responsibility

Universal Responsibility, as the Dalai Lama explains it, starts from a simple observation: today, no human being can live "separately." Our actions, even the most ordinary ones, have an impact on others, on society and on the Earth. Developing this sense doesn't mean believing yourself responsible for every war and every injustice, but gradually widening your heart: recognizing that every person, wherever they live, has the same right to happiness and to freedom from suffering, and that our everyday choices contribute to that, even modestly.

The 5 Seeds project is a concrete way of cultivating this Universal Responsibility. By taking care of your health, stabilizing your emotions, understanding your Prakriti (your deep nature), learning to cooperate, and entering into transmission, you move from "I must protect myself" to "I can contribute." This inner shift echoes what Samdhong Rinpoche calls Lhaksam: "taking responsibility" for oneself, for others and for life itself. The 5 seeds then become a practical training for living love, compassion and ethics in your relationships, your commitments and your life choices, in service of the great human family.
